Equitax Solutions Ltd is owned and run by Emily West (BSc ACA ATT) as a sole practitioner.
Emily is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in 2015 at Ernst & Young, one of the global leading firms, to become a member of the prestigious ICAEW. In 2024 she was awarded the ATT qualification, obtaining distinctions in many of the exams.
Qualifications
Emily is both ACA qualified (Associate Chartered Accountant) through the ICAEW and also ATT qualified (Association of Taxation Technicians). These are some of the most advanced learning and professional development qualifications available and demonstrates the knowledge and practical skills required to best advise clients.
Software Partner
We are an accredited Partner of both FreeAgent and Xero. FreeAgent is our preferred software due to its user-friendly nature and it's ability to "speak your language", avoiding complex accounting jargon and presentation. We receive really positive feedback from those we transition onto FreeAgent, however we also fully support clients on Xero, Quickbooks and Sage, and will always advise each client on an individual basis as to which software would be most appropriate for their circumstance.
